Gatherings.

Therefore encourage one another and build one another up, just as you are doing.

1 Thessalonians 5:11

Sundays.

Prayer at 5:15pm

Service at 5:30pm

All ages are invited to join us for prayer before the service begins, while others enjoy time with one another over refreshments as people continue to arrive.

Wednesdays.

Meal from 6:00pm

Bible teaching at 7:00pm

On Wednesday evenings, we gather in a home and share a meal together. Some of those who come might bring a food item to share, but it is not expected or necessary. After we have enjoyed food and conversation, we quieten down a little and seek to grow through Bible teaching.

Five Essentials.

In the Scriptures, we find five ways in which God desires to be worshipped when His church gathers. As we are seeking to please Him, we emphasize these five from week to week (listed in no particular):

> We pray all kinds of prayers

> We sing a variety of songs

> We read the Scriptures

> We preach from the Scriptures

> We share the ordinances of communion and baptism

Simple. Informal. Serious. Joyful.

Our gatherings are simple and informal, though never casual or without serious consideration. We want to view the Lord God with utmost seriousness and give His Word the weight it is due, but we don’t want to take ourselves too seriously. We rejoice in the mercy and kindness of a God who takes ordinary people – sinful and without hope – and transforms them, adopting them into His family, as His children.

Young and Old Together.

All ages are together when we gather, and we welcome the sound of whispers and other little noises as our youngest ones learn what it means to be a part of God’s family, worshipping Him together. We see this as an opportunity for parents and children to grow together in the things of the Lord – a joyful responsibility, not a burdensome distraction.
